Thank you to George Anderson for taking the leadership role in replacing the drape behind St. Charles Chapel Altar. Thank you to Mrs. Angela Harding for donating her time and talent for sewing the drape, with material donated by our Council 103, the drape looks great.

We are looking forward to having our 1^st degree members advance to 2^nd then 3^rd Degree, then advance to 4th Degree members.

Thank you to all incoming and outgoing council officers for your ongoing dedicated service. Installation of officers is August 13, 2010 at 7:30 PM. Attire: Business Suit.

Thank you to everyone who made the Fathers Day St. Joseph Lumberjack Breakfast Fundraiser a success. Fathers, families and people from Pittsfield and many surrounding communities had an enjoyable time with a terrific food selection. All proceeds will go the new Parish Center.  Thank you to the Advertisers, Volunteers from the Parish, the CIAO Team, and the Knights of Columbus members of Council 103 for supporting this cause.

The Food Pantries in our community are helping to feed our neighbors, kindly bring can and or dry goods to our meetings. We are rotating among our Pittsfield Catholic Church Food pantries with our donations. Thank you for your sharing and caring.

Our Fraternal Insurance Program and Annuity Program provides a financial safety network for your family.

Looking Ahead

         Polish Picnic will be held on July 18, 2010 from 12 noon to 6:00 PM at the St. Joseph Church Parish Grounds on North Street.

         Habitat for Humanity, Saturday July 31, 2010 and Saturday November 6, 2010.

         Habitat’s Restore is looking for volunteers to help on Wednesdays & Saturdays.

         Knights of Columbus Family Picnic for family and friends will be held Sunday Aug 8, 2010 at the CYC Camp St. Michael on Cascade St. from 12 PM to 3 PM. This will be an alcohol free event. A salad or desert donation is appreciated. Hot Dogs & Hamburgs will be provided. Cost is a free will donation.

         Mass K of C day with the Pawtucket Red Sox, Sunday, Aug 15, 2010, 1 PM, Tickets $9.50, K of C price.

          The Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll Fundraiser Drive is coming to help those with disabilities and will be held on August 19^th; 20^th and 21^st , Gino Gennari, Jr, Chairman.

         Mass. K of C & Fr. Joe Baggetta’s “Chapel of Hope” Family Cookout, Saturday Aug 21, 2010, 12 PM to 4 PM, AMVETS Post #79, Natick, Ma. $10 single, $20 for families (children up to 10 yrs). Donations would be appreciated.

         St. Joseph Festival of Sharing Roots, September 12, 2010, 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM, Rain Date September 19, 2010.

We are requesting a 2^nd Degree and 3^rd Degree for the Pittsfield area hopefully in the fall if we can get enough candidates, we will keep you informed.
